This Matariki book design was a fusion of design and education. This endeavor involved crafting visually stunning and functional layouts for A4 and A3 activity journals (88 pages each), catering to both te reo Māori and English-speaking audiences. The project covered age-appropriate content for Junior (early learning, level 1 and 2) and Senior (levels 3-8) age groups.

In addition to the engaging activity journals, we seamlessly integrated a Māori lunar calendar and a set of playing cards designed for diverse memory and pair-matching games. Collaborating closely with Long White Cloud Productions on behalf of the Ministry of Education, we brought this multifaceted project to life, emphasizing creativity and educational value in equal measure.
