Welcome to Journeyman Creative Studio! I'm Tori Veysey, a seasoned graphic designer based in Cambridge, New Zealand. Armed with a Bachelor of Media Arts with a major in Graphic Design from Wintec (2008), my expertise spans logo design, brand identity, print design, publications of various sizes, packaging, illustration and photography.
I thrive on exploring diverse artistic avenues, often crafting unique handmade pieces that capture the individuality and preferences of my clients. Beyond serving the local community in the Waikato, I've had the pleasure of working with clients in Tauranga, Rotorua, and Auckland. Thanks to the wonders of the internet, distance is never a barrier—I'm ready to collaborate with clients wherever they may be.
What's with the name?
In my creative journey, I firmly believe in the perpetual pursuit of mastery—an ever-evolving process of learning, discovering, and refining one's craft. The term "journeyman" resonates with me; it refers to a seasoned craftsman, proficient and dependable, yet not quite a master. Embracing this mindset, I aspire to remain a perpetual journeyman—constantly hungry for knowledge, committed to upskilling, and dedicated to continuous self-improvement.
I am fortunate enough to be able to say that I truely love what I do. Outside of work I enjoy hiking, staying overnight at DOC huts and drinking a whisky sour or two. I also love to have adventures with my husband and three sons.
