This project is a tip of the hat to graphic designers, typographers and artists who inspire me and have paved the way for people like me. Some of these influential designers include Cipe Pineles, Saul Bass, Herb Lubalin, Stefan Sagmeister and Jessica Hische. I started by illustrating the subjects with pen and scanning it into my computer. I then added watercolour and texture to them in photoshop to create the final look. I hand drew each designers name in the style that they are most known for. I did twelve subjects in total and it was used in a calendar along side a small blurb of each person.
